Upper Coomera Website Creation Guide
Getting started with your website is easy, but there are many steps you need to take to get everything set up correctly. In this article, we will walk you through the process of getting your Upper Coomera website up and running, from setting up hosting to sending us images and contents for your home page.
Introduction to Setting up an Upper Coomera Website
Having an online presence is essential for any business today, and setting up a website is the best way to do this. A website can showcase your products and services, increase brand awareness, and provide an online platform for customers to contact you. It’s important to make sure everything is set up correctly so that your website looks professional and performs optimally.
When setting up a website, there are several steps you need to take. These include choosing a domain name, setting up hosting, sending us images and contents for your home page, and setting up security and backups.
Choosing Your Domain Name
The first step in setting up your website is to choose a domain name. Your domain name is the name that customers will type into their browser to access your website. It’s important to choose a name that is easy to remember and that reflects your business.
When choosing a domain name, you will need to make sure that it is available. You can check the availability of a domain name on a domain registrar website such as GoDaddy or Namecheap. Once you have found a domain name that is available, you will need to purchase it or we can purchase it on your behalf.. After purchasing your domain name, we will need to configure it to point to your Hosting Account.
Setting Up Hosting
Once you have chosen a domain name, you will need to set up hosting for your website. Hosting is essentially a server that stores all the files related to your website. There are many different hosting providers available, so it is important to choose one that meets your needs. We use and recommend Hostinger.
When setting up hosting, you will need to choose a hosting plan that is suitable for your website. It is important to choose a plan that is reliable and offers enough storage space for your website. You will also need to choose a hosting provider that offers good customer service.
Once you have chosen a hosting plan, you will need to configure your domain name to point to your hosting account. This involves entering the nameservers provided by your hosting provider into your domain registrar’s control panel.
We can do all of this for you.
Sending Us Images and Contents
Once you have set up your hosting and domain name, you will need to send us images and contents for your home page. We will use these images and contents to create a professional-looking website for you.
When sending us images and contents, it’s important to provide high-quality images that are relevant to your business. Images should be clear and represent your business in a positive way. You should also provide contents for the following pages: Home, About Us, Contact, Services, and / or Products.
Your Home Page
The home page is the first page visitors will see when they visit your website. It should provide an overview of your business and its services. The content on your home page should be engaging and easy to read. It should include information about what your business offers, how customers can contact you, and other important information.
Upper Coomera Website Creation About Us Page
The About Us page provides visitors with information about your business and its history. It should ideally include your mission statement, a brief overview of your business, and information about you and your team. It should also include any awards or distinctions your business has received.
Details of Services and Products You Offer
The Services and Products page provides visitors with detailed information about the services and products your business offers. It should include descriptions of each service or product, pricing information, and any special offers or discounts.
Setting Up Google Map and Keywords
Google Maps is a great way to show visitors where your business is located. You can add a Google Map to your website so visitors can easily find directions to your business.
Setting Up Keywords, Titles and Descriptions
You should also add keywords to your website so that customers can find you in search results. Your Keywords should be what ideal customers will type into Google to find you and there should be 4-6 of them, each with their own page. Titles are important – This is what you see in Google results so the Title of each page should include the Keyword for that page and ideally be between 50 and 60 characters long. The description is the second half of what you see in Google results and should be between 155 to 160 characters. It is also important to have a good Image in the Google results. Here is an ideal Google Result …
Set Up Security and Backups
It’s important to make sure your website is secure and protected from hackers. We will set up security measures to keep your website safe, including firewalls. We will also set up regular backups of your website, so you can restore your data if something goes wrong.
Ensure Website Loads Fast
It’s important to make sure your website loads quickly. Slow loading times can cause visitors to leave your site, so you need to make sure everything loads quickly. We will optimize your website for fast loading times, so visitors can access your website quickly.
Make Your Website Mobile Friendly
Most people access the internet from their mobile devices, so it’s important to make sure your website is mobile-friendly. We will make sure your website looks great on mobile devices and loads quickly.
We Add Functionality through Plugins
We will add functionality to your website through plugins. Plugins are small pieces of software that add new features and functionality to your website. We will select the right plugins for your website, so you can offer the best experience to your customers. These include SEO plugins, Backup Plugins, Plugins for Image manipulation etc.

Gold Coast Business Websites – Managing Your Website; Video 4 of 4.
Ask your website designer about managing your website,BEFORE the website gets built. WordPress websites are simple enough to manage; if you can use MS Word, then you can update your own blog / website. However, the website design industry has a vested interest in you having to pay for simple updates you could do yourself.
We build small business websites for clients worldwide, but Australian web design accounts for most of our small business web design work. Either way, we provide customer support and training to help you do the basics to save you money.

We design our Gold Coast Business Websites from the ground up to be user-friendly, so that you can handle changes easily yourself. This might be as simple as changing a phone number, to adding a new product or service. Many Gold Coast web design companies charge up to $85 per hour for site changes, and it is usually in the small print – so check this out BEFORE you sign up. Training can be one hour of one-on-one personal training at my office or over the phone, usually by Skype. Knowing how to make small changes is very helpful if business is slow and you want to put up a Special Offer until things improve – we show you how to do this.
Normally, we host your Gold Coast business websites for you, so that we can handle the more technical aspects, leaving you to save money by doing the simple stuff yourself.

If you are into motorcycle touring, the blog he demonstrates is . Keith’s website is actually a hobby blog that makes a little income from advertising; if you want a hobby website, knowing how to update it yourself is vital, along with how to interact with vistors. Business Websites Gold Coast teaches you both.

For Successful Gold Coast Business Websites, “Integrated Website Marketing” is vital – Video 3 of 4.
Integrated Website Marketing involves blending Gold Coast Website Design, YouTube Marketing, Article Marketing, SEO, and Social Media if applicable. Unfortunately, these elements come in and out of favour as far as effectiveness is designed. For example, when I started this business Ezine Articles and MySpace were absolute Powerhouses. Today, the “powerhouses” have changed, with Google + having been introduced, alongside such giants as Pinterest.
When you are shopping for a new small business website, the website design should ideally include all of these elements that are currently in favour. Steer clear of website designers who think the job is finished once they build your website – Integrated Website Marketing is vital, and can only start once your Gold Coast Small Business Website is finished.
In addition, we recommend a custom business website template, so that you stand out from other business websites, particularly your competitors. Any Gold Coast business websites designer should be able to create a unique look for your website. In fact, here is a little-known fact that you need to know. The majority of Free Website Themes are free for a reason – they include links to other websites. Most free themes have links that are innocent enough, usually back to their own business – which is a fair exchange for giving you a free theme. However, you need to check these links – some go to quite unsavoury websites, including in a small minority of themes, porn sites.
Note: If you prefer reading, there is a transcript of the video below.
Creating your small business website is a job for a professional Gold Coast business website designer with experience in Integrated Website Marketing; a cheap business website will look – cheap! We provide affordable website design, with Guaranteed results – and Google Rankings should be a cornerstone of your Business Plan.
While it takes skill to set up Gold Coast business websites initially, day to day website management is simple; we cover that in the next video.
In the meantime, here is another website we have built:
Transcript of the video:
Integrated website marketing is about getting as much exposure as possible from different sources.
The first source is online video and obviously people love YouTube; people are spending more time on Youtube than Google now so it’s an absolute must-have as part of your integrated marketing plan.
The second one is article directories and there are some very important ones like Ezine articles that will give you traffic from one article for years to come, and the third is social marketing social media like Facebook, MySpace, Twitter etc.
They are important to people under 30, so you need to look at the demographics of who you’re marketing to. If it’s an Aged Care facility, then social media probably isn’t that important. If it is iPods, it certainly is important.
We will produce a Youtube video for you and we will guarantee that you will get 1,000 hits on your video within 21 days and that’s as important as a guaranteed top 30 Google ranking, because there’s no point in being on YouTube if no one sees you.
For your article, you can either write it for us if you enjoy that; if you don’t, we will write it for you. We will publish it for you, so we can do all that for you if you wish. Then there is Social Marketing, and it really depends on what your market, and particularly your age group, is.
We then walk you through a few examples in the video. In the next video, we will look at how simple and easy it is these days to have a WordPress website and why you don’t need to be afraid of the technology anymore.
NOTE: Things change quickly online. Ezine Articles and Myspace WERE powerhouses in the past, but not in 2019 (Although articles will always be important, especially on your own website). Choose what works in whatever marketing climate is right for today.
