People often ask me, “Why are your prices so low?” Here’s why. I have finally figured out that going to bed thinking, “What I did today is really going to help their business” is almost as important as the money I make.
A qualified Accountant and Management Consultant, I left the corporate world because I got tired of being ordered to screw people for every cent I could get. I also reflected that the 14 years I spent working on Overseas Aid Programs were the happiest years of my life – because I was helping people. Now I’m ready to help you.
Basically, I have several price levels for building a Gold Coast Business Website, depending on what your needs are, and what your budget allows. Like cars, websites come in a variety of styles and price points.
1. The “Standard” Gold Coast Business Website Package – $395.
A standard website. Price includes:
a) Sourcing a great “Domain Name” (website address) and buying it for you.
b) Linking your domain name to our hosting account
c) Creating the website for you
d) Adding up to 4 Pages for your Products or Services (Can add more on an hourly rate basis)
e) Adding the mandatory Google Pages, like Anti Spam Policy, Privacy, Copyright etc.
f) Great Marketing advice – See “Marketing” below.
g) One hour of training so that you can update your own site if you wish (We can do it for you, if you prefer)
We will also “personalise” your site with a Picture / Bio.
This level of website might, for example, be good for a mobile hairdresser, plumber, or other small business that traditionally has not been able to afford a full website, and does not have the skills to run one anyway (I do all the scary stuff for you). Also good for part-time businesses and low income businesses. Or maybe you just want a personal website for your hobby.
ALL of our websites include the ability for easy “two-way communication” – unlike many traditional websites (can be switched on or off).
With most people searching online these days, Can you afford NOT to have an online presence at just $395?
Plus we will add a Video (can be a Cartoon Video, as example on right) and Two Articles for you for you. Either, we can source these for you, or we can work with you to produce something specific, eg, a video explaining why you/your product are different, and why people should deal with you.
Video is very important to online success these days.
We can also add a further 2-3 Pictures / Bio’s of key people in your Organisation. A common business mistake today is to focus exclusively on products and totally ignore their people. Clients ARE interested in WHO they are dealing with, especially in Small Businesses. And good Customer Service is becoming a lost art – If you have great Customer Service, feature it!

2. PRO Gold Coast Business Website Package – $495.
For $495, all of the above – plus, we can add an additional Two Videos or Two Articles for you, or up to 4 more product or service pages..
We release these over the next two months – keeping your website “fresh” with new content that keeps both Google/Yahoo and your human visitors coming back.
We also design a “Custom Look” for your website that uses your pictures, logo, etc in the Header. Many web designers use “Templates” – you may see other websites that look just like yours. A unique “Custom Look” features you, your products, your phone number prominent in the Header area, etc.
With this option and option 3 below, we will spend One Hour teaching your staff how to add further videos and articles *IF* you want to do it yourself (anyone competent in MS Word can learn this easily)
This Package is great for the traditional small business that can not afford $3,000 – $10,000 for an expensive website. Most of the websites we build are either $495 or $695.
3. PREMIUM Gold Coast Business Website Package – $695.
Includes everything above – Plus, at $695, we Guarantee you will get found in the Top 30 Google or Yahoo Results within 60 days – Or we keep working until it is, at no extra cost. We do a lot of “behind the scenes” technical work to ensure you have a highly visible web presence.
This is the “Rolls Royce” package and includes adding several plugins (eg, a local or business “News Feed”) that add great features to your website (you do not need to understand plugins – the “techie” side is our problem). This includes highly advanced Search Engine Optimisation, including building Backlink building.
We also research and write more articles for you and do multiple submissions.
Another big feature is that we submit 2-3 videos to MULTIPLE video sites, not just YouTube.
This is the website for the Small Business that wants a “big business” look!
4. The “Tough Competition” Gold Coast Business Website Package. $895.
Search the main keyword people would use when looking for your business; anything over 250,000 competing pages and we may need to talk $895 because we have to do extra work to compete. This is also subjective – If there any not many competing pages but we have to compete with Wikepedia, Ebay and other powerhouse sites, it is an uphill struggle.
Disclaimer: For many people the $495 or $695 package is fine; If you are considering the $895 package, talk to us first and we will give you honest advice. For example, if you are selling “Gold Coast Rag Dolls” the $495 will probably get you great Page Rankings, because there is little competition. On the other hand, if you are selling something that has a lot of competition we may recommend the $695 or $895 deal. TERMS: $200 Deposit with Order; Balance on Finalisation of your Gold Coast Business Websites, OR you can pay the balance off at $50 per week while we are building the website if that helps.
Ongoing Costs:
The only ongoing cost is $20 per month for, a) monthly web hosting, plus b) ongoing maintenance of your website, plus c) making regular backups / clones. Plus, once a year, $20 to renew your domain name.
Of course, if you want help, we can assist. An example might be a new Product that you want us to create a video for you, or a “Special Offer” you want on your website for a limited time.
Or, *IF* you prefer, we can teach someone in your Organisation to do it – you will be surprised at how easy it is once you know how.
Whether training your staff or doing future “techie” stuff for you, we charge $65 per hour – and work fast 🙂
MONTHLY WEBSITE RENTAL
The monthly option gives you peace of mind – $99 Set Up fee, plus $30 per month, with NO lock in contracts. If it does not work for you, simply cancel. Since we process through Paypal, you have complete control – just cancel in your Paypal account if you are not happy, and we will take your website down, no hard feelings.
WOW Marketing
A website is a Marketing TOOL – It does not sell on its own. It needs Marketing flair – and great Customer Service.

E-Commerce
If you have under 20 items, we strongly suggest using Paypal; we will add the first 6 for you and then train you in how to do it (unless you prefer we do). Paypal is the biggest payment gateway worldwide, so they cannot afford problems; they simply keep everything ticking over effortlessly. In addition, Paypal is the simplest to use; if you plan on regular changes, Paypal is the best option.

While the basics are free, I cannot set up hundreds of products for you for free. I suggest you check out the link above and consider whether you can do this yourself. If not, I can do it at $65 per hour.
While anyone proficient in MS Word can be trained in Paypal, Woo Commerce is more complicated – BUT still the easiest of the rest. We prefer WooCommerce to the other solutions on the market.
What does E-Commerce cost? Basically, $65 per hour, but what I can achieve in that hour depends on whether you have descriptions ready (or want me to write them), whether you upload your own images (or want me to do it), etc. If everything is ready to go, I can do 12-15 products per hour (including the vital testing to make sure the order process actually works!). So, divide your total products by 12 to get how many hours and then multiply by $65. Or, if you feel you can do it yourself after watching the WooCommerce video above – the cost is just your time!
